    not only is this place adorable, the staff is SO NICE!! the waitress took all of our substitutions and even gave us separate totals to make things easier. they are very friendly and personable. and the food is great!!! highly recommend.

    So I almost didn't eat here because of the reviews/ratings. Boy am I glad I took a chance on country waffles Merced. Not only was the waitress (cannot remember her name, sorry) very nice AND attentive the food came out very fast and it was very good ! Usually I write long paragraphs detailing every good, bad and ugly thing that happens in the restaurant but this won't be like that. We were in and out well before an hour like I said the food was fast, the staff was friendly and the price was very reasonable. $32 for "The Country" "corn beef hash" and a side of sausage.

    Hey wait! Those two ladies came in five minutes after me and their orders have already been taken. Sorry, but I'm on my lunch hour. I was seated by the hostess and she brought my soda right away. But no server and it's not busy even though it's just after noon. Yay, here she is! I ordered the rancher's skillet. I'll post a pic and let you know how it was when it arrives.  Food came quickly and it was really tasty. My server even acknowledged that she left me waiting when I came in. Yay! That made me feel better and she was very nice. 4 stars now. I'll definitely go back to try something else.

    We normally love this place but today's customer service was sub par at best. They had 2 bussers but there was at least 6 open tables unbussed and a bunch of people were waiting. One of the bussers took 10 minutes to finish one table!!! One of the waitresses talked to a customer at her table for 15 minutes while people were waiting. Our waitresses Cory is ALWAYS PROFESSIONAL, efficient, and friendly. Probably just a bad day. The food is always great.

    Gross and nasty the portions are small and the price is to high.
    And it's to greasy and they don't have sliverwear at the table
